Who are Golden Triangle, you ask? Why they are “a band of three girls and three boys who play music that’s loud.”

When we posted our 2010 Preview way back in early January, we did not have an mp3 of the new Golden Triangle. We had the album art, and that was good enough. But now we have an mp3 to give us a taste of Golden Triangle’s debut full length which is sure to be crammed full of psychedelicnowavegaragepostpunklofishitgoth (a word made from the musical genres mentioned on this page).

The album is called Double Jointer, and it comes out on March 2. It is being released by Sub Pop‘s little sibling of a label, Hardly Art. Listen…

UPDATE: I totally forgot about that EP of reworked The Forms songs that was announced last year. We heard there are a lot of awesome guests on it. Matt Berninger of little band known as The National is one name that was thrown around. I suppose the EP is being meticulously tweaked in the band’s recording studio. I assume the EP will be released this year.

Oh, and I’m sure no one will notice a new release from LCD Soundsystem.
