a: Fallen Angel (lala link) by King Crimson

q: What is your favorite food?

a: Brick oven pizza, but saag paneer sounds really really good right now.

q: What is your favorite band to see live?

a: Lately, probably Sisters. Maybe Knyfe Hyts too. Or Skeletons. They played with a big band at the Death by Audio maze a few months ago and it was incredible.

q: What is your favorite venue in NYC (if applicable)?

a: Most comfortable is at DBA, but Cake Shop is not without its charms.

q: OK, President Obama appoints you as the first Secretary of Culture, to whom do you give your first grant?

a: Myself, so that I can start up a record label and put out numerous different projects I think are underrated, and maybe help push out some of the stuff that’s massively overrated.

q: Anything we should know about your latest project (whatever that might be)?

a: We’re currently working a new album that will be released (hopefully) later this year on Kanine. It’s starting to take shape and it’s kinda weirding me out a little bit. I’m not really sure how to explain what it sounds like so far, but I’m more than a bit surprised by some of the directions and sounds. Emily even plays guitar on some of the new ones.

There once was a band named Muggabears. They played loudquietrock that was filled with feedback. One day the band changed their name to Grooms. That band then recorded an album which they named Rejoicer. The album they recorded will one day (Oct 20) be available for public consumption when a little record label named Death By Audio releases it to the wild. Recently, a very big indie music website posted a track from the album. Today, we post it here on GT. Be careful as you listen to it. This song may suck your dreams.
