Finally, a little online publication called Pitchfork (maybe you have heard of it) is having what is either a massive unofficial CMJ showcase or their own separate music festival at Brooklyn Bowl from the 21st to the 23rd of October. It is called the #OfflineFestival. Get the deets here, here, and here.

The Sundelles quite recently finished recording their first full length album. They were working with Mr. Tony Maimone (of Pere Ubu fame) at Studio G in Brooklyn. The band says it’s “totally a step in a new direction, fidelity wise, but its still true to our writing style.” The name of the album is Georgia Swan, and right now there are no definite plans to put the album out as the band is looking for a label to give it a proper release. The sound on the LP is definitely poppier and less fuzzy than their last recording, but I am going to bet that it slays live. We are very glad to post a track from Georgia Swan right now. Listen.
