So, the new Slothbear digital 7″ has a sound that I love. It is the sound of jangle and distortion. Think of the guitar tone of a mid-90′s Western Mass indierock band. This release is (I assume) a teaser for a full length named Qids. Is this perhaps a play on the latin quater in die or maybe an intentionally misspelling of Kids? I’m guessing the later but I don’t think I care as long as the rest of it sounds something like this…
