mp3: Spoon > Got Nuffin
SO, I finally heard the new Spoon track that has been making the rounds on the internet and was officially released yesterday. What really grabs me is the neopostpunkbass riff. It’s worth a listen for that alone. Is this the summerjam you have been waiting for? It may very well be mine.

neopostpunkbass riff?
First of all, what does that mean?
Secondly, the bass riff is all even notes and a chord progression that you’d teach to a ten year old learning how to play bass.
So overrated.
“neopostpunkbass” is one of my little compound adjective jokes. I guess you are not a fan.
If you want a slightly more complex bass performance, perhaps you might like some Double Dagger (or not).

Plus, thanks to your comment, I now want to see a Spoon cover band comprised completely of 10 year olds. It will be called The 10 Year Old Spoon. They will cover Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga in its entirety.
Spoon fan here. So what if the chord progression is standard…the song is still catchy as hell,
And lol, b o b, I want the Goo Goo Dolls to perform Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.
