Noisemaker Dan Friel has put the finishing touches on his first post-Parts & Labor full length LP, Total Folklore. The LP is set for release on February 19th via the venerable Thrill Jockey label. Reportedly, Total Folklore was recorded on a computer purchased in 2001 running OS9 and it features:
- thriftstore pedals
- field recordings made while walking around various cities
- Friel’s first musical instrument, a Yamaha Portasound keyboard from 1984
