Bambara is a language. BAMBARA is also a band. Formed in Athens GA, based in Brooklyn, the trio of Twin brothers Reid and Blaze Bateh and William Brookshire have been making music together since they were in the 7th grade. The band is getting ready to release their first full length LP, DREAMVIOLENCE. The LP comes out on April 30th on the band’s own tape label Emerald Weapon Records. The LP starts in noise rock mode, then gets more intimate and finishes on some weirder ambient/noise notes. This here is side one, track one.
