q: What is the last song you (really) heard?
a: Charles Hayward – Smell of Metal
q: What is your most common reaction to hearing your own music?
a: What to keep/throw away, etc.
q: What is your favorite artist/band to see live?
a: Lately Vaz, Roomrunner, and Horse Lords. Looking forward to seeing Animal Lover live.
q: What is your favorite venue (in NYC, if applicable)?
a: For NYC, Death by Audio. Generally happy with any spot that sounds good and that people go to.
q: What is the first album you ever purchased?
a: In Utero, if buying with your parents’ money counts, haha.
q: What piece(s) of culture are you really really excited about right now?
a: Really, really excited? I’d say I’m decently excited about international cuisine, deep anonymous comment threads, and silkscreened posters.
q: Anything we should know about your latest project (whatever that might be)?
a: New LP and touring this month w/ Sur and power-take-OFF. Really really excited about that!
