premiere :: NO ICE > CASTLE BRAID
NO ICE are not the Swedish punk band Noice. They are a rock and roll septet from Brooklyn.
The lineup:

- Gwynn Galitzer – vocals, tambourine
- John-Severin Napolillo – guitar, slide guitar, vocals
- Sean Spada – piano, vocals
- Sam Braverman – guitar, vocals
The band is getting ready to release their debut full length LP Come On Feel The NO ICE via the good folks over at Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen. The albums sticks indie guitar rock, power-pop, shoegaze, punk and soul into a blender. The title of the album is much more a tribute to the 1993 album Come On Feel The Lemonheads by The Lemonheads then to Cum On Feel the Noize by Quiet Riot.
And we are super psyched to share their second single in music video form with you now. The video was directed by Brian Chillemi and Jamie Frey and stars Rose Blanshei, singer/guitarist of the band Prima and features several members of the Brooklyn DIY music scene including Joe Wakeman (Bodega Bay), Ben Jaffe (Pill/Dumb Wolves), Alex Fippinger (The Yin Yangs/Junk Boys), Russell Hymowitz (MPHO/Junk Boys) and Inna Mkrtycheva (Butter The Children), and some pizza.
