a: Green Day “Kerplunk” cassette
b: Jock Jams, Volume 3…
q: Is there an album you wished you knew about when you were younger?
a: Iggy & the Stooges “Raw Power”
b: “Double Nickels on the Dime” by Minutemen
m: “Let It Be” by the Replacements
q: What is the last album you purchased?
a: Blotter “Demo” and “Under Armour ’77” (after listening to them on bandcamp constantly for like 2 years)
m: “Collective Sigh” by Pinkwash
q: What is your favorite artist/band to see live?
a: I always love seeing Memphis friends: Ex Cult / NOTS / Useless Eaters.
m: Probably Lemuria because I’ve listened to them for the past 10 years and have gotten to see them progress, and they are just the best. But one of my favorite shows I’ve ever been to was Electric Wizard.
q: What piece(s) of culture are you really really excited about right now?
a: Yesterday I binged the entire series of The People V. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story.
b: I’ve been listening to a lot of Barf Troop, Material Support, and Wet Brain. More generally though, I’ve been really inspired by Internet-organized political action (mostly through Twitter) and street zines like Ben Trogdon’s Nuts!
q: Anything we should know about your latest project (whatever that might be)?
