We love The Glove. They have a fairly low profile, but they one of the best DIY spots operating today in NYC. Speaking of DIY spots, the wonderful Crown Larks of Chicago had been planning a show at Shea Stadium when recent events made the show venueless. While we are sad to lose 20 Meadow Street, we have faith that Shea will return (see their 198% successful kickstarter). In the meantime, The Glove was nice enough to transplant the Crown Larks’ show which features killer local support from Parlor Walls, Outside World, Video Daughters. The show is happening on May 10th (a Wednesday) and will transport your soul to an glitchy alternate reality with help from Preston Spurlock‘s visuals. His art looks like this…
