q: What is the last song you (really) heard?

a: David Bowie‘s new single Blackstar. We love Bowie, and this is the best since Outside.

q: What is the first record you remember buying?

a: Metallica, Master of Puppets

q: What is your favorite way to listen to music? Why?

a: Earbuds, walkin around. Give the city a soundtrack.

q: What is your favorite artist/band to see live?

a: Tough one, but I caught Television at Rough Trade a few years ago. It was humbling. Tom Verlaine’s guitar set up is a Vox AC30 and a solitary Tube Screamer that he set at the beginning and didn’t touch for the rest of the show.

q: What is your favorite venue (in NYC, if applicable)?

a: Palisades. No bullshit to that place.

q: What piece(s) of culture are you really really excited about right now?

a: Fallout 4.

a: Fun fact– there are no synthesizers on this track.
