Balmorhea’s “Steerage and the Lamp” kept reminding me of the intro to Blue Oyster Cult’s “Joan Crawford” — know it? Playing those two tracks together totally works! Cuz you’re half-asleep (in a good way) after the 7+min of Steerage, so following it up with the super-weird and glorious Joan Crawford wakes you up, wakes you right up! Which then kinda killed the mood for the last three tracks of Constellations…
