A Holiday Benefit Show for the Rockaways is coming to Cake Shop (152 Ludlow Street) next Friday, December 14th. It will feature:

Proceeds will be going to the Rockaway community via Lava Surf Girl – a surf training and educational program designed to evolve and inspire the NY surf life. As of October 30th, LGS has been coordinating a grass roots relief effort at the Rockaway Beach Surf Club. Currently, they are fundraising for rebuilding materials and tools, helping the community, house by house. They update needs and happenings on their Facebook page daily.
