Councilman for District 1, San Antonio, Texas, civil rights attorney, and beatmaker Diego Bernal has not released any music for a while. He was a little too busy representing his constituents. So, Diego reached out to producer and friend, Ernest Gonzales (a/k/a Mexicans with Guns) to help him quickly put out an album. The project turned into a 9 song concept album. It was: “written to be the soundtrack of an unmade Mexican Western film. The album, Atonement, is a tale of love and loss. It is a story in which the hero finds himself in despair and makes things right again in the end.” Atonement will be out September 17th via Exponential Records.
