q: What is the last song you (really) heard?
a: Now I Understand by TWIN GUNS is the last song I had playing on my phone.
q: What is the first album you remember purchasing?
a: Appetite for Destruction (on cassette).

q: What is the last album that you purchased?
a: Moodie by Yuno…I love his music…excited for him signing with SUB POP.
q: What is your favorite memory of experiencing music in a live setting?
a: McCarren Park Pool Parties…so many awesome shows, so much dodge ball, so much slip n slide.
q: What are the best and worst things about running and internet radio station in 2018?
a: Best are all of the interesting musicians, DJs, labels, venues, and bloggers (!!!) that I get to meet and collaborate with.
Worst is all of the technology, from maintaining the website to the audio equipment….fixing things that aren’t working as they’re supposed to is no fun.
q: What piece(s) of culture are you really really excited about right now?
a: I’m really excited about Yeezy 500s, Overwatch, and flossing…all at the same time when possible.
q: What should we know about Newtown Radio?
a: We’re having a 9th Anniversary party at Secret Project Robot on August 10th with Future Punx, Sleepies, Big Bliss and BIG BAND w/ Newtown DJs going til late.

q: What’s coming up next for the station?
a: We are moving! In the next few weeks, we will open in a brand new street level space at 264 Meserole St. We’ll be hosting more private parties and doing more broadcasts of live in-studio performances.
