So, SF psychrockers Burnt Ones have a new track on the second playable flexi book from Castle Face Records. Burnt Ones are in some pretty awesome company on this one. Castle Face Records Group Flex II: Son of Flex also features Sic Alps, The Mallard, White Fence, Blasted Canyons, Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin, Warm Soda, Thee Oh Sees, Kelley Stoltz, the Fresh & Onlys and Running.

You can purchase the Castle Face Records Group Flex II: Son of Flex flexi book w/ download card @ castlefacerecords.com. The book has 3D multicolor foil artwork by Joe Roberts and comes in a specially printed heavy polybag. Castle Face has some recommendations for playing the flexi book on a turntable.
Every single copy is hand made and unique. Due to the experimental nature of the printing on this project, some finessing may be required to make sure that the tracks play properly. Here’s some tips:
1. Be sure to remove the download card first; it’s placed between the back pages and is also translucent.
2. If the corners of the book curl up, you can weigh them down with a coin or two, or use a large paperclip to hold them down.
3. Some adjustment of your tonearm weight may be necessary.
4. Keep your Son Of Flex under something heavy and flat when you’re not playing it, like a grand piano or an Acme safe
