Let’s face it, any band that tags themselves coldwave minimal synth post-punk punk Brooklyn has a pretty good shot at finding a place in my heart. It just so happens that Black Marble‘s bandcamp page has those exact tags on it. Ty Kube and Chris Stewart mix their punk ethics with electronics on their Hardly Art debut, the Weight Against the Door EP. Here is the promomp3 that has been making the rounds.

LA-based Warrior Line is comprised of Maria Gonima and Greg Pritchard (ex-Clipd Beaks). They draw influence from the “discordant guitar sounds of Manchester” and the drum machines of “Detroit techno”. Their debut EP is set be released via Tigerbeat6 sometime later this year.
