q: What are the best and worst things about being a musician in 2018?

Best things:

JK: Ransacking services, bad bants, getting attacked by doors

BM: Free scran and of course ransacking services.

TW: The camaraderie has its moments

CH: Service stations, going on holiday, destroying weakeners with brutal sounds.

Worst things:

BM: Cockwomble promoters

JK: The Fear

CH: Faulty drum stools, “next best thing” mentality, arriving at gigs too early

q: What piece(s) of culture are you really really excited about right now (if any)?

CW: Fitzcarraldo Editions and Soulseek

JK: Work of Darja Bajagić and the label endangered species

q: What should we know about Strange Feeling?

TW: It’s yours for £4

BM: During the recording I was suffering from an overdose of Synder’s pretzel pieces.

JK: Group effort, many chefs make a tasty soup.

CH: That not all things that are great are difficult to create. Strange Feeling is the first successful culmination of a set of specific ideas that we as friends have been working at (on and off) for years and all in all this current attempt at apprehending them has been one of the most fluid and thankful experiences I’ve ever had writing music.
